Job Description

In this exciting leadership role, you'll be the mastermind behind our marketing strategy. You'll lead a talented team of marketing professionals, overseeing everything from campaign development to budget management. What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives.

    • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive growth and engagement.

    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing team.

    • Act as a change management champion, guiding the team through new initiatives and challenges.

    • Share best practices and industry knowledge to elevate the marketing team's performance.

    • Ensure the team has the resources and skills necessary to achieve set goals.

  • Team Management:

    • Lead and inspire a team of marketing and digital managers across a product portfolio.

    • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to your team members.

    • Cultivate a high-performance work environment that fosters collaboration and success.

    • Develop a strong succession plan to ensure the long-term strength of the marketing team.

  • Campaign Management:

    • Oversee the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, including B2B and consumer marketing.

    • Ensure campaigns deliver on pre-determined objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators).

    • Manage budgets effectively and allocate resources strategically across projects.

    • Champion the adoption and optimization of marketing technology solutions.

  • Data & Analytics:

    • Leverage data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.

    • Identify trends and insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI (return on investment).

    • Foster a data-driven culture within the marketing team.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Leadership:

    • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams.

    • A strong track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

    • The ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Strategic Thinking:

    • A keen understanding of current marketing trends and technologies.

    • The ability to develop and execute creative marketing campaigns.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving measurable goals.

  • Marketing Expertise:

    • Extensive experience in consumer marketing, ideally in the events industry.

    • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, online advertising, etc.).

    • Experience with database marketing, segmentation, and targeted campaigns.

    • Understanding of marketing automation platforms (preferably Eloqua).

    • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media marketing tools.

  • Additional Skills:

    • A degree in marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).

    • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
