Job Description
The role of Application Specialist is responsible for providing technical and clinical support on Dermatology and Aesthetic Medical Devices throughout the sales process. This includes promoting medical devices to customers, demonstrating device specifications and performance features, and controlling its parameters in accordance with the vendor's manual and specifications. Responsibilities range from pre-sales demonstrations to post-sales training and installation, along with end-user support, including onsite visits to drive more proactive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Generate high-quality technical collateral that promotes the scientific capabilities of the products, emphasizing a total solution for the customer.
Serve as the principal point of contact for customers regarding equipment features and parameter queries/issues.
Memorize product features and present their functionalities to customers using applicable medical terminology.
Perform testing to evaluate new processes during new equipment installation and related software implementation.
Exhibit product expertise during customer support and clinical training.
Coordinate with the service unit team to determine the nature of clinical equipment problems.
Understand customer needs by proactively gathering information to learn about their expectations.
Create reports on the results of demonstrations and provide regular feedback about end-user satisfaction.
Communicate customer information, problems, and opportunities to the sales team.
Collaborate with the service team and quality assurance to determine equipment-related problems' root causes and set corrective actions.
Track vendor-related issues from discovery to completion.
Ensure the Project Team maintains high-quality service and on-time delivery of project outputs for the client.
Follow established processes to efficiently deliver high-quality service.
Analyze competitor products and highlight our products' features to customers.
Required Skills and Abilities
Degree in a medical background, with openness towards candidates from different backgrounds but with valuable and relevant experience (Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum of 3 years of experience, with 2 years in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medical Devices preferred, or as a Specialist in healthcare (nurse, physiotherapist, dietitian, dermatologist, etc.).
Fluent in both English and Arabic.
Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite.
Effective communication skills in public speaking and strong presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the region as well as worldwide for trainings, sales meetings, events, and tradeshows.
Valid Driver License.
