Job Description:
Amova Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and culturally aware caregiver to provide in-home care for an elderly Muslim man living with dementia. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference by offering respectful, person-centered care that honors the client’s dignity, values, and faith.

Responsibilities include:

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Companionship and emotional support
• Personal hygiene support (with sensitivity to modesty and privacy)
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal preparation (with consideration for halal dietary needs)
• Medication reminders
• Dementia support and redirection techniques
• Encouraging daily routines and gentle mental stimulation
• Observing and reporting changes in condition to supervisor

Qualifications:

• Prior experience with dementia care preferred
• Understanding of Muslim cultural and religious practices is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Must pass background check and meet agency training requirements
