Stocker I

Responsibilities:

1. Check product merchandise to ensure correct pricing and display.

2. Report merchandise discrepancies, disposals, and inventory-related profit and loss to the department head.

3. Clean and organize shelves, displays, and address missing labels.

4. Monitor expiry dates of products displayed and in the warehouse, ensuring timely replacement.

5. Conduct inventory and identify reorder needs, seeking approval from Supervisor.

6. Practice First in First out (FIFO) method during product display.

7. Clean and maintain equipment in good condition.

8. Conduct consistent quality checks throughout the day, focusing on product freshness and stock refilling.

9. Identify sensitive products and maintain quality assurance standards.

10. Assist Supervisor in identifying depleted stocks for reordering based on stock movement.

11. Ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.

12. Assist customers in finding requested items and address pricing concerns.

13. Maintain clean and organized aisles for customer convenience.

14. Ensure compliance with safety rules, production standards, and sanitation guidelines.

Skills:

• High School graduate with at least 1 year of relevant experience; college-level education preferable.

• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• Language proficiency: Good command of English; French and Basic Arabic skills are an added advantage.

• Experience in the GCC region's retail industry is highly desirable.

• Ability to deliver quality service and assistance to customers.

• Honest, proactive, dedicated, and committed.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and numerical skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Physically fit for manual labor and heavy lifting (approximately 1 kilo - 15 kilos).
