Job Description
Section II: ROLE PURPOSE The role is designed to oversee administrative, technical, and reporting functions related to employee relations and health and safety.
Section III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient day-to-day operations within the employee relations sub-unit.
Assist the head of Employee Relations in implementing HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Manage the employee grievances process to uphold fairness and efficiency.
Contribute to employee retention through appropriate treatment and solutions.
Promptly and fairly conduct necessary investigations and disciplinary actions in accordance with labor laws.
Ensure effective implementation of exit interviews for departing staff, settling contractual obligations for legal and contractual protection.
Administer employee relations tasks including onboarding, end of employment, and maintaining accurate employee profiles.
Implement approved procedures and health and safety measures.
Liaise with various sectors and departments to address customer requests and internal queries for seamless transaction processing.
Prepare internal communications related to announcements, personal actions, and decrees, ensuring accurate reflection in the system.
