Job Description
As the Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents while providing strategic legal advice to support the company's operations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. This role requires expertise in compliance, litigation management, and regulatory affairs in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to pharmaceutical operations.
Provide expert legal advice and guidance on all matters impacting the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines across emerging markets in MENA and LATAM.
Manage litigation cases, collaborate with external counsel, and represent the company in legal proceedings.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes, advise on compliance matters, and develop/implement compliance programs.
Oversee the establishment of representative offices in different countries within MENA and LATAM regions.
Requirements:
Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UAE, with prior experience working in the MENA region.
Solid background in the pharmaceutical industry is essential.
Proven experience in establishing representative offices across MENA and LATAM countries.
Extensive expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
Thorough understanding of local legislations, international and local Codes of Practice, guidelines, and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic; proficiency in French is advantageous.
