Job Description

Position Purpose

The Move One On Call (Per Diem) Destination Consultant is the primary point of contact for the assignee during any assigned destination services.

Responsibilities / Duties / Functions Tasks

  1. Contacting the assignee and clearly explaining the service to be provided and any related procedures and time lines;

  2. Encouraging the assignee to visit the Move One Expat Eye Guide as a valuable pre-arrival resource;

  3. Discussing and confirming service needs, interests and requirements with the assignee and establishing the “Service Key”;

  4. Maintaining consistent contact with the assignee throughout the service;

  5. Recording vital service related information in via

  6. RELO daily by completing comments, statuses, time-tracker, costs, and other fields;

  7. Uploading service related documents to via

  8. RELO including property offers, itineraries, lease agreements, termination notices, HOP documents, and others;

  9. Providing clear and timely updates and service reports to any local Move One clients for whom they are providing services;

  10. Immediately notifying their local Lead Consultant and/or their Regional

  11. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and awareness of their destination city by reading expat websites and publications;

  12. Completing any client forms related to the service;

  13. Completing any records or forms required to track their per diem work, including but not limited to, vehicle mileage, time sheets, expense reports;

  14. Notifying their Lead Consultant and/or Regional Manager of any planned holidays that may impact availability for work.

  15. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

  16. Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.

  17. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

  18. Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

Skills

  • University degree is preferable

  • Good foundation of knowledge about expat living in the destination city is essential

  • Service industry work experience is advantageous

  • Strong PC skills are essential

  • Sophisticated manner (ability to relate to people, clients and staff, at all levels)Strong service inclination and customer orientation

  • Ability to communicate clearly and with confidence both verbally and in writing

  • Strong listening skills

  • Time management skills

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Inquisitiveness and eagerness to continuously develop self-knowledge on destination city
