Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions Tasks:

1. Coordinating Air, Sea, and Land Operations for Import/Export:

   • Ensure smooth coordination of operations across various modes of transportation.

   • Oversee the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with regulations.

2. Daily Planning and Scheduling:

   • Plan and schedule all assigned pickup and delivery tasks on a daily basis.

   • Utilize preferred vendor lists and rates to optimize pricing and routing for customer shipments.

3. Communication and Customer Service:

   • Organize pickup and delivery arrangements through effective communication with shippers and consignees.

   • Understand customer requirements and ensure consistent service levels.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

   • Maintain regular communication with customers, providing shipment status updates and addressing any delays or additional costs.

   • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost optimization to increase profitability.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

   • Communicate effectively with Move One offices, providing necessary information and documentation for each shipment.

   • Prepare accurate daily reports for management and input status and costs into the company database.

6. Ad Hoc Duties and Projects:

   • Undertake any other related duties or projects assigned by the direct supervisor to meet business requirements.

   • Minimize operational costs, optimize efficiency, and increase overall profitability.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Logistics Operations.

• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

• Preferred university graduate.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PC applications: Word, Excel, Open Office, Windows.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Personal Attributes:

• Ability to work well under pressure and willingness to work long hours if required.

• Outstanding organizational skills and commitment to customer service excellence.
