UX / UI Graphic Designer

Job Title: UI/UX Designer (with a focus on Figma & Data-Driven Design)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive analysis, data-driven design, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse group of businesses, including Books, Retail (Food), and Apps, delivering tailored design solutions for each vertical. You will play a key role in shaping user experiences, leveraging insights from A/B testing and research, and working closely with SCRUM teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Competitive Analysis & Data-Driven Design: Conduct thorough competitive analysis across our diverse business sectors (Books, Retail (Food), and Apps). Use data and market insights to create design solutions that enhance user experience and drive business outcomes in each domain.
• Research & A/B Testing: Lead and participate in user research and A/B testing to validate design proposals for our multiple business areas. Use feedback and analytics to iterate and optimize designs.
• Design Documentation in Figma: Produce clear, detailed, and consistent design documentation using Figma. Collaborate with stakeholders across different business units to ensure designs meet the project requirements and user needs.
• Collaboration with SCRUM Teams: Work closely with SCRUM squads and delivery teams to ensure design work is aligned with development goals and timelines. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery across different projects.
• User Story Mapping Workshops: Actively participate in user story mapping workshops to ensure all required activities and steps are properly reflected in design proposals. Address the unique needs of each business sector in your design approach.
• Use Case Specific Design Variations: Develop design variations based on detailed use cases from engineering documentation, ensuring designs are specific to the different business verticals and scenarios.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, including web and mobile platforms,.
• Strong experience with Figma for design creation, collaboration, and documentation.
• Expertise in conducting user research, A/B testing, and using data to influence design decisions.
• Solid understanding of SCRUM methodology and experience working within Agile teams.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders from different business units.
• Ability to create responsive, user-centered designs that align with business goals and technical constraints in diverse industries.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience leading design teams or mentoring junior designers.
• Familiarity with user story mapping and other agile product management frameworks.
• Background in front-end development or understanding of technical constraints in design implementation.
• Previous work in fast-paced, high-growth environments, especially across multiple business sectors.
• Graphic Design - Creating Banners & Marketing Material for website & email marketing
