Job Description

The Event Sales Specialist role is a key position in Aggreko’s KSA event sector business. You will manage a sales plan (account portfolio) to deliver growth within current customers, target and win back lapsed customers, and prospect new customers with a focus on growth and profitability. Reporting to the Event Sector Leader, you will work alongside the sales and operations team. Strong people skills, tenacity, and professionalism are essential. The role entails a 40%/60% split between new business prospecting and existing account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Target, develop, and acquire customers within your sales plan.

  • Meet and exceed revenue targets and sales KPIs.

  • Price 3rd party costs appropriately (Fuel, Freight & Rehire).

  • Understand thoroughly the KSA Events market.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Follow Aggreko’s sales process (sector sales excellence), CRM, and CPQ processes.

  • Ensure minimum sales activity requirements and CRM & CPQ compliance.

  • Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan for business development.

  • Identify new customers/business to grow key account portfolio.

  • Expand and maintain customer network through face-to-face and telephone sales calls.

  • Prepare and submit proposals including technical and commercial details.

  • Acquire sound knowledge of internal administrative practice and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification in sales or technical discipline OR Minimum 5 years of successful high-level sales experience in industrial services environment.

  • Commercially astute technical sales professional with significant experience.

  • Experience within the Events industry and selling capital equipment or technical/engineering solutions/services (Solution Selling).

  • Target-driven with a track record of exceeding sales and activity KPI targets.

  • Proficient in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

  • Willing to travel across KSA.

  • Valid KSA driving license.
