The Opportunity:
Join Veolia as the Sales & Marketing Manager for their brand-new Tahwil hazardous waste incineration facility in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. You'll play a pivotal role in establishing market presence, securing clients, and leading a successful sales and marketing team.
The Tahwil Facility:
State-of-the-art incineration facility designed and built to meet the highest environmental standards.
Processes hazardous waste from Jubail industries according to Royal Commission regulations.
Capacity to treat up to 121,000 tons of waste per year.
What You'll Do:
Sales & Business Development:
Build and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team.
Identify and develop leads, converting them into long-term clients for Tahwil's waste treatment services.
Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and finalization.
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to showcase Veolia's solutions and expertise.
Lead post-bid reviews and ensure smooth contract transitions.
Manage customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and exceeding expectations.
Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities to maximize facility throughput.
Client Management:
Act as the primary liaison between Veolia and Tahwil clients.
Ensure successful waste treatment by understanding client needs, coordinating sampling and analysis, and managing waste delivery schedules.
Represent Veolia in client discussions regarding waste generation and acceptability.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
Provide feedback to management to optimize business decisions.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to enhance Veolia's competitive edge.
The Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
6-10 years of experience in business process development.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the Hazardous Waste industry.
Proven ability to work effectively at the CEO/Director level with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
Strong understanding of the KSA waste management market.
Commitment to Veolia's high standards of Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality (HSEEQ).
Fluency in English and Arabic is a strong asset.
