Petal Maps Operations Specialist

Responsibilities:

* Implement diverse map quality assessments, covering search accuracy, road navigation precision, and POI (Point of Interest) data relevance, while compiling improvement reports.

• Conduct road testing to identify, document, and provide feedback on issues, actively monitoring their resolution with the product team.

• Support the localization of map data and contribute to ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing overall data quality.

• Collaborate closely with product and data teams to enhance the map application.

• Foster collaborative relationships with third-party entities, including governance bodies, external companies, cooperation partners, and other map companies, to explore new business possibilities and achieve the goals of our map business.

• Encourage active user engagement and drive user participation in map-related activities.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a background in GIS (Geographic Information System).

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a related field.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in Arabic, English, and Chinese.

• Expertise in map app and map data development, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and strategic plans for continuous improvement and growth.

• Passion for maps with in-depth knowledge of local map data and advanced problem-solving skills.
