We are currently recruiting for Specialist inventory – 6 Months Contract Role to be based out of their office in Dubai.

Job purpose:

Support the Specialist Inventory to maintain optimum level of inventory, with the aim to maintain optimum stock levels and maximize working capital. Support warehouse team in executing stock issue and transfer processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform the daily review of inventory min/max report to assess current stock levels vs. demand.

  • Amend re-order levels by considering history, seasonality & future demand and raise purchase requisition when required.

  • Follow instructions detailed in Fulfilment handbook.

  • Operate inventory optimization tool in collaboration with Specialist Inventory; ensuring all input data is captured, cleansed and run through the tool to produce periodic updates to min/max inventory levels.

  • Support the Storekeepers and Associate Storekeepers in transferring stock between two warehouses. Reconcile the inventory levels of the transferred items at both warehouses in the inventory management system.

  • Support Specialist Inventory in its interaction role by providing relevant data, checking received data from end users and organizing interaction meetings between supply management and end users.

  • Perform physical stock count of items in the stores.

  • Support the Master Data Management Team in item catalogue creation and maintenance by providing the inputs from fulfilment and inventory management perspective.

  • Manage receipt, recording and tracking of spares relating to new infrastructure handed over to the company.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of inventory optimization techniques.

  • Practical knowledge of internal operations and stakeholders.

  • ERP systems (preferably Oracle), and Advanced MS Excel. Regional / industry knowledge is preferable.

  • Certification is required in any area for ongoing professional development or for mandatory purposes
