Job Description
As a Training and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. Your role will involve creating and organizing various forms of training, maintaining training records, and staying updated on the latest trends in training and development.
Responsibilities:
Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
Design and deliver induction, immersion, orientation, and skills training for employees.
Develop unique training programs to meet specific job skill requirements.
Create or acquire training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
Present training programs using various formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
Maintain records of training activities, attendance, test results, and retraining requirements.
Assess training materials prepared by instructors and provide feedback.
Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Stay updated on the latest trends in training and development.
Coach the team to achieve results as part of training programs.
Perform other related duties as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field.
3-5 years of training experience required, preferably in the F&B sector.
