Hydraulic Technician

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Hydraulic Technician to join our engineering team!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators, and filters.

• Diagnose and fix hydraulic system faults.

• Perform routine maintenance and service hydraulic systems.

• Install new hydraulic systems and components.

• Monitor and maintain hydraulic fluid levels and quality, including filtration and replacement.

• Work with minimal supervision.

• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues.

• Monitor and control the quality of hydraulic systems.

• Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions.

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment manuals for troubleshooting.

• Maintain records of consumable usage and disposal for equipment controllers.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues about equipment maintenance and repairs.

• Complete all job-related paperwork accurately and on time (work orders, parts orders, etc.).

• Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment as assigned.

• Be available for off-hours tasks like rescheduling, technical assistance, and emergency response.

• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors and managers.

Qualifications:

• Technical high school certificate with related experience training (or equivalent).

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Hydraulic Technician (diploma preferred).

• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance drawings and repair procedures.

• Experience working in the GCC (preferred).

• Valid Qatar driving license (advantage).

• Proficiency in computer applications for record-keeping and reporting.

• In-depth knowledge of hydraulics and the ability to repair and replace damaged parts.

• Familiarity with a wide range of hand and power tools, precision measuring tools, and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience troubleshooting cranes like Liebherr, DEMAG, GROVE, Tadano, or Milaha.
