Job Description

Sidra is seeking a highly motivated and skilled HRIS Specialist to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service for Sidra's HRIS system (Oracle Fusion HCM) and ensuring its effective implementation, customization, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Support & User Guidance:

    • Deliver high-quality application support for Sidra's HRIS system.

    • Collaborate with end users to document HR processes and guide them through system functionalities.

    • Manage and resolve routine HRIS user inquiries and complaints.

    • Train and support end users on HRIS features and functionalities.

  • Data Management & Reporting:

    • Assist in consolidating and updating HR data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

    • Utilize HRIS to generate insightful reports for HR and Sidra Management.

    • Analyze HR data trends and identify areas for improvement.

  • HRIS System Administration:

    • Support the consolidation of data and drafting of HR policies related to HRIS.

    • Recommend changes to enhance HRIS functionality and user experience.

    • Participate in HRIS development and testing phases, providing feedback and coordinating resolutions with IT.

    • Follow up on HRIS deployments and ensure developed functionalities meet user needs.

    • Manage user roles and security permissions within the HRIS system.

  • Strategic Planning & Collaboration:

    • Assist in developing and implementing the annual HR Business Plan and Objectives.

    • Collaborate with HR stakeholders and IT to streamline HR processes through HRIS.

    • Analyze HR management needs and recommend technology solutions.

    • Support the line manager in conducting HRIS gap analysis and market research.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database interaction.

  • Ability to create and customize reports using Oracle BI Publisher.

  • Skills in building and managing OTBI reports and dashboards.

  • Expertise in HRIS security and role management.

  • Experience with data migration tools and techniques.

Functional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of core HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, etc.).

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, etc.).

  • Ability to configure HR business processes and workflows within Oracle Fusion HCM.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to generate HR insights.

  • Awareness of global and regional HR compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle Fusion HCM.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Sidra Medicine is a 400-bed women's and children's hospital, medical education and biomedical research center in Doha, Qatar. The hospital first opened its outpatient facility in 2016, followed by its inpatient hospital in January 2018. Qatar Foundation, a quasi-government organization, allotted a massive $7.9 billion budget for the hospital's construction. It first selected the center's contractors in 2008 but in 2014 assigned new contractors to complete the project. Biomedical research first began at Sidra in 2015. Outpatient care facilities and services were inaugurated in May 2016; as of 2018 there are at least 50 outpatient facilities. Throughout 2017, more than 25,000 people were treated at the hospital's outpatient clinic. On 14 January 2018, Sidra launched its inpatient hospital with 400 beds, treating 10 patients on its initial day of opening. The hospital is expected to become fully commissioned sometime in 2018, after the construction of an emergency department and the addition of further services.
