Job Description
Serco, a multinational organization operating in the Transport, Defence & Advisory sectors, is bidding for a prestigious new project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They are seeking a Strategic Planning Specialist to lead the strategic direction and implementation of contract delivery in support of the Project Director.
Project Purpose: The project aims to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA, focusing on managing and maintaining assets and facilities effectively. This involves improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies to reduce costs, and enhancing practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Phases of the Project:
Initiation Phase: Initiation of transformation and spreading the culture of change, along with conducting several development studies.
Initiative Execution Phase: Designing the operational model within the client's organization.
Key Accountabilities:
Providing strategic input and advice to the Project Director
Formulating strategic and operational plans aligned with client objectives
Supervising support departments for balanced scorecards and performance measurement
Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to identify market trends
Developing short, medium, and long-term strategies to support client growth
Evaluating existing strategies and suggesting revisions for improvement
Specific Requirements:
Master's degree in Strategic Planning, Business Administration, or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years of experience in strategic planning and corporate performance management
In-depth knowledge of strategic planning methods, concepts, and tools
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to interpret and analyze large volumes of data effectively
Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
