Job Description

We are searching for a seasoned Engineering Manager to play a pivotal role in establishing and implementing world-class O&M (Operations & Maintenance) standards across KSA government entities. You'll lead a team of O&M specialists in developing a comprehensive National O&M Manual, ensuring its effective implementation, and driving the adoption of best practices throughout the government sector.

What You'll Do:

  • Craft a comprehensive departmental operating procedure, outlining the team's structure, roles, responsibilities, and processes for delivering O&M services.

  • Spearhead the development of the National O&M Manual, a cornerstone resource encompassing global best practices in O&M.

  • Collaborate closely with the client's partner consultancy to establish a robust O&M strategy.

  • Partner with the Enablement department to facilitate the understanding and adoption of O&M standards within government entities.

  • Provide systems engineering expertise to support the development of the National O&M Manual.

  • Design standardized maintenance plans to ensure the long-term sustainability of critical assets and systems across relevant sectors.

  • Develop standardized operating procedures encompassing all facets of O&M.

  • Review and refine procedures and processes established in collaboration with the client's partner consultancy.

  • Implement a system for standardizing O&M contracts across government entities.

You're a Perfect Match If You Have:

  • A Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited university.

  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in a related field, with a proven track record of involvement in major national or international initiatives.

  • At least 5 years of successful experience in a managerial role within a reputable organization.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing best practice O&M standards and processes.

  • Extensive experience working internationally, with a preference for the Middle East and particularly KSA.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Solid subject matter expertise (and relevant accreditations where applicable) in various O&M domains, including:

    • Maintenance Planning/Work Control

    • Sustainability Practices

    • Operating Procedures Development

    • Post-Maintenance Testing

    • Systems Engineering Programming

    • Equipment and Tool Control (Measurement and Testing)

    • Configuration Management
