Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Asset Management professional to lead a team of subject matter experts. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing best-in-class O&M procedures and standards for Saudi government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead your team in creating core Asset Management procedures and standards for the new National O&M Manual.
Develop and document departmental operating procedures, including roles, responsibilities, and processes.
Provide expert guidance and resources across all government entities, aligning with strategic plans and individual requests.
Manage a matrixed team to effectively deliver complex O&M projects while integrating best practices.
Conduct research to identify and implement best-in-class Asset Management processes and systems.
Foster strong relationships with clients and partners to optimize O&M practices.
Support the Enablement department as a subject matter expert on various initiatives, including:
Establishing criteria and recommending procurement for a National Asset Register (NAR).
Developing a strategy to deploy the NAR across entities.
Defining selection criteria for a Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platform.
Creating integration plans between NAR and entity CAFM/CMMS systems.
Developing processes for consistent budgeting, life cycle planning, and asset sustainment.
Establishing a Condition Assessment Process.
Assisting with 5-year infrastructure portfolio planning.
Who We Are Looking For:
Proven track record in Asset Management consultancy, particularly in developing SOPs and Asset Management Manuals for O&M or FM services.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Facilities Management and/or Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
Managerial experience within a reputable organization.
Prior experience working in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited university.
Minimum 15 years of experience in a related field, leading national or international projects.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
Proven expertise in developing and implementing best-practice standards and processes.
Extensive experience working internationally (preferably in the Middle East/KSA).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Subject matter expertise (and relevant accreditation where applicable) in various O&M aspects:
Maintenance Planning/Work Control
Sustainability
Post-Maintenance Testing
Systems Engineering Programming
Configuration Management
Fleet Management Procedure Definition
Asset Registration/Information Management processes and systems
CAFM/CMMS criteria, strategy, and integration
Cost Indices
Life Cycle Planning
Condition Assessments
