Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical professional to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our financial planning and analysis activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Resolve routine financial planning and analysis inquiries and supervise junior staff in handling similar requests.

    • Prepare and submit comprehensive financial analyses for senior management review, following best practices to inform financial decision-making at STC.

    • Conduct routine and non-complex analyses of financial data to support effective management of STC's funds, investments, cash flow, assets, costs, and revenues.

    • Analyze and generate various complex financial reports, involving data selection, preparation, and interpretation using advanced data query tools across multiple databases. This may also include developing financial models.

    • Contribute to the revenue assurance function by participating in billing and usage reconciliation, and by undertaking revenue leakage and fraud prevention initiatives.

  • Budgeting:

    • Provide budget management services and analysis for various departments and financial leaders within STC.

    • Assist in preparing all budgeted financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.

  • General Responsibilities:

    • Perform assigned financial tasks within the established scope.

    • Assist with routine financial activities and escalate any complex issues as needed.

    • Execute advanced financial planning, budgeting, and modeling activities accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth daily operations at STC.

    • Review standard reports prepared by junior staff and forward them to senior management for informed decision-making.

    • Participate in analyzing best practices in financial management and assist in their effective implementation at STC to optimize budgeting and financial processes.

    • Collaborate effectively with other team members to foster strong working relationships.

    • Assist in preparing the application of financial accounting standards and budgeting assumptions across all sectors within STC.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required).

  • Professional certification such as CFA or equivalent (preferred).

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, and analysis within the technology/telecommunications industry (required).

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic proficiency in business acumen.

  • Intermediate proficiency in data collection and analysis.

  • Intermediate proficiency in financial awareness and reporting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
