Intern (Operations, Marketing, and Customer Success)

Salam! Ahmed here, CEO of GiveMasjid.

We're building a modern donation platform for masjids looking to raise funding.

I'm looking for a hungry, early-career intern to help us with our day-to-day operations. Our company is very small (Founder led) -- but highly experienced. I've seen what great organizations look like when it comes to building high quality technology products - and I'd like to see us do the same in building a quality product that helps masjids raise more donations.

I'm looking for someone willing to jump into the fray and support the business in a variety of ways:

• Engaging Potential Masjids For Trials and Registrations

• Working to Support Our Existing Masjid Partners (Gathering Input on Features, Communicating Updates, Creating Events)

• Onboarding New Masjids

• Creating Marketing Buzz

• Documenting Our Processes to Smooth Out Our Execution

• And More

We're not looking for someone who has "done it before" -- but someone willing to learn and push hard. We intend for this to be a great learning opportunity for someone who wants to be an entrepreneur, wants to get their foot in the door learning how SaaS businesses work, or wants to find work that feels meaningful while earning a bit of additional income.

We're looking for someone to work about 5-10 hours per week.

Importantly, we're looking for someone with:

• Strong Communication Skills (You have to enjoy interacting with people).
  

• High Degree of Patience (You may have to interact with masjids that are slower to move and try new things).
  

• High Energy / EQ (We're looking for someone who can get people excited about working with us).
  

• Not Afraid of Technology (You don't have to be a tech wizard but you have to be able to navigate systems).

Bonus:

• Great with social media or, at the very least, very interested in trying their hand at it. We don't run many ads or make many posts right now, but we'd like to change that.
