Junior Work Preparator - Piping

Key Accountabilities:

• Assisting Preparator in the day to day activities like drawings preparation and MTOs.

• Job identification, drawings preparation and updation in dept. database for records against a defined work spec and tender.

• To provide daily updates to preparatory and supervisor in line with updation in ERP (Mariner or equivalent) for spools, supports and joint details.

• Material requisition and follow up. Verification of material quantities against a defined MTO in terms of size/grade and quantities.

• Man hour estimate as per agreed tariff and submit for project supervision review.

• Final Job descriptions to Invoicer for man hours update.

• Documentation of sailed projects as per documentation procedure in department.

Experience / Qualification & Skills:

• Good Working knowledge of ASME rules, AutoCAD and material grades.

• Good Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP software.

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or any Degree in mechanical Engineering

• AutoCAD 2D/3D , Smart plant Isometrics.

• 2 - 3 years' experience in similar industry or 5 years Shipyard experience.
