Medical Technologist

As a Medical Technologist, you will play a vital role in our Clinical Laboratory, performing a variety of tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will ensure accurate and timely test results to support optimal patient care.

Here's what you'll do:

• Laboratory Operations: Organize daily tasks, manage supplies, and maintain a cost-effective work environment.

• Testing & Procedures: Perform various chemical, microscopic, immunological, and bacteriological tests, following established protocols.

• Quality & Safety: Meticulously adhere to laboratory safety procedures and participate in quality control and assurance programs.

• Data Management: Maintain accurate laboratory records and operate/maintain laboratory equipment.

• Education & Training: Assist in the evaluation of new technologies, participate in updating lab manuals, and contribute to the training of students and healthcare personnel.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree/Diploma in Medical Technology (required).

• For Grade 08: Two (2) years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or four (4) years with an Associate's Degree/Diploma.

• For Grade 09: Four (4) years of experience as a Medical Technologist at KFSH&RC, with an average annual performance appraisal of at least 3.5 for the past four years, and 50 hours of continuing medical education (CME).

• Current registration from your country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.

• Registration in MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), or equivalent for American, ART or Medical Technologist for Canadian, AIMLS for British, AIMS for Australian, NZIMLT for New Zealander, or registered Medical Technologist for other international countries is required.
