Job Description
We are seeking qualified Medical Technologists to join our team and contribute to exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Organize daily workload, ensuring smooth operations within your assigned section/subsection.
Assist the section supervisor in communication across shifts, sections, and departments.
Maintain adequate laboratory supplies to prevent disruptions in service and assist with inventory management.
Participate in evaluating new methodologies and equipment.
Contribute to revising laboratory policies and procedures according to established guidelines.
Obtain, process, and analyze laboratory specimens using various techniques.
Maintain a safe and hygienic laboratory environment following established protocols.
Maintain accurate medical laboratory records as per hospital standards.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
Participate in quality control programs within your section and departmental quality assurance initiatives.
Provide feedback for employee performance appraisals.
Train and guide students, residents, and other healthcare personnel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree/Diploma in Medical Technology (required).
Grade 08:
Two years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (required).
OR four years of related experience with an Associate's Degree/Diploma (required).
Grade 09:
Four years of experience as a Medical Technologist at KFSH&RC (required).
Average annual performance appraisal score of at least 3.5 for the past four years (required).
Completion of 50 hours of continuing medical education (CME) credits (required).
Additional Requirements:
Current registration from your country of origin and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) (required).
International registration requirements:
MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA) for US applicants (or equivalent)
ART or Medical Technologist for Canadian applicants
AIMLS for British applicants
AIMS for Australian applicants
NZIMLT for New Zealand applicants
Registered Medical Technologist for other international applicants (required).
