Job Description
The Customer Insights Analyst will develop the data infrastructure for customer-centric marketing, improving the data lifecycle from extraction to analysis. Collaborating with the marketing enablement team, you will streamline data ingestion and integration processes from various sources for marketing teams. The role involves ensuring that the marketing data platform and tools support analysts and decision-makers effectively.
Responsibilities:
Collect, interpret, and simplify incoming customer and marketing data from multiple sources for various applications.
Collaborate with customer insights and campaign analysts to maximize data utility and discover actionable insights.
Drive continuous improvements in data extraction, aggregation, profiling, testing, and analysis.
Design, develop, and launch robust, automated data pipelines for stability and accuracy.
Ensure analysts can leverage customer data in analytical exercises through end-to-end analytics project ownership.
Identify and integrate new data streams and establish data sources for marketing metrics.
Research, prototype, and implement new statistical methodologies with enterprise analytics and data science teams.
Maintain data quality and accuracy by identifying and addressing incomplete or inaccurate data.
Optimize data pipelines and processes to align source data with analytical needs.
Build a scalable middleware/API framework for data integration with third-party marketing technology partners.
Requirements:
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or E-Commerce.
5+ years of experience in Brand/Product management.
Experience in analytical research and customer behavior analysis.
Skills in statistical analysis for marketing purposes, including customer segmentation, targeting, profiling, digital attribution, econometric modeling, multivariate, and A/B testing.
Experience with customer segmentation models, both descriptive and predictive.
Data visualization skills and ability to present technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Understanding of marketing research tools, methods, and applications.
Knowledge of database architecture and data management across multiple systems (Excel/Access and SQL).
Experience with digital marketing technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Big Query, DMPs, targeting/digital optimization marketing platforms).
Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to handle concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience developing management-level reporting.
Ability to translate technical concepts for marketing stakeholders.
