Job Description
Responsibilities:
1- Strategic planning of the administrative and support services in the academy ensuring all resources are effectively being used.
2- Supervise the HR and follow up on the implementation of HR in the academy starting from vacancies identification and job posting and employment offer preparation and contracts and leave public holidays and updating the record of employees and end of service.
3- Supervise the registrar of the academy and follow up the registration of students and acceptance policies in coordination with the superintendent and organize and coordinate relationships with the Ministry of Education.
4- Supervise the purchasing and asset management coordinator and follow up on the implementation of purchasing policies such as purchase requests, request for proposals and supplier selection and support the academic administrators in the identification of school furniture and other supplies and ensure abidance by asset management policies and warehouse and use of inventory yearly to save guard the assets of the academy and smooth educational operations.
5- Supervise the IT coordinator and follow up on IT infrastructure ensuring effective performance based on academy requirements.
6- Manage and follow up safety and security policies and ensure emergencies response and preparedness and supervise safety at all school facilities and evaluate on a periodic basis such as canteen and laboratories and facilities, playgrounds, and parking. Also follow up the implementation of the security procedures and work on improving it.
7- Follow up on the process of choosing maintenance, cleaning and outsource companies and managed the first Aid and canteen and school transportation ensuring implementation of contracts and work to ensure the high-quality services, evaluate their work on a periodical basis in coordination with concern employees.
8- Follow up school building and it is preventive maintenance and manage contracts with contractors and follow up on their work to ensure high quality based on agreed upon standards.
9- Organize the school events such as Qatar National day, Qatar Sports day, Graduation, Parents Meeting in coordination with the relevant staff.
10-Manage and organize relations with the school facilities institutions to serve and maintain academic interest.
11-Manage and follow up the marketing process in social networking in coordination with the relevant staff.
12-Leadership and management: Follow up the staff, assess their performance and work on professional development.
13-Membership in the school board and contribute actively to planning, implementing and give advice to the staff.
14-Perform other responsibilities and duties as might be requested by the Superintendent.
