Job Description
Manages and ensures efficient operations of the workshop and properly address customer requirements and to achieve sales targets by utilizing the given authority while increasing the volume and customer satisfaction standards.
Job Responsibilities
Financial
Achieving financial/non-financial targets of the branch (Labor sales/RO Nos/Service campaign targets etc.) to meet the financial budget of the branch.
Taking proper measures to reduce the Operating cost of Workshop operations to ensure maximum profitability
Ensure for proper bay utilization for revenue generation.
Handling of Petty cash, Monthly bills settlement to Accounts department.
Timely submission of reports for management review.
Administrative
Motivate the workshop team and maintain high morale to achieve highest level of service to customers.
Recommend the training needs for the subordinates.
Conduct Annual performance assessment of the subordinates for career development of staff.
Ensure safety and other regulations are followed as per requirement of the authorities.
• Plan and implement leave roster to ensure manpower availability and targets are unaffected
Process
Ensure the Work Instructions procedures are properly implemented and completed for quick turnaround time of the vehicle.
Ensure resolution of customer complaints on priority to maintain optimum customer satisfaction and avoid repetition of such complains.
Ensure repairs (recall / warranty/ general repair) are carried out as per the guidelines of the manufacture to meet repair quality.
Ensure workshop tools / equipment are maintained for efficient running of the workshop.
Supervise the work in progress is closed on time to reflect the branch revenue.
Audits regularly standard operating procedures of the reportees to ensure smooth branch operations.
Close monitoring of lump sum repairs to ensure profitability
Monitors the charge out rates of the services as per policy to ensure adherence to discount policy.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
3 year Diploma / Bachelor in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering
Experience
5 years Dealership experience in a Supervisor / Senior Service Advisor level Excellent negotiation skills and influencing skills
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge in Policy adherence (repair, warranty , company, legal, safety)
Efficient for Cost control, WIP monitoring, Report generation and good in Repair quality
Strong knowledge of spare parts and the market
Sound financial awareness and business acumen
Relationship Management Skills
Excellent presentation skills
