Job Description

The position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the network including sites and users connectivity.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage network related issues from GIT

  • Perform all assigned helpdesk tickets and take necessary assistance from GIT network POC and also escalate L2 and L3 tickets to ARC for further resolution

  • Take necessary action on onsite works within and outside Maze Tower premise

  • Perform IOS related updates/upgrades under the guidance of Group IT Network team for the equipment under manufacturer warranty and support

  • Do basic configuration of routing and switching equipment which includes routers, switches, modems, firewalls etc.

  • Securing network by establishing and enforcing security policies as per guidance of Group IT security team

  • Managing Wi-Fi infrastructure in ARG (Maze Tower and other locations)

  • Basic IP telephony configuration related tasks under the guidance of GIT

  • Prioritize day to day support and other tasks

  • Basic configuration of firewalls under the guidance of GIT

  • Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers

  • Coordination with project management team, Desktop Engineers and helpdesk Engineers on a regular basis

  • Coordination with Vendors and Service providers

  • Basic Configuration of LAN, WAN and WLAN for the group

  • Provide necessary assistance to GIT network POC and external vendors for networking projects implementations

  • Ability to keep abreast with latest technology

  • Basic troubleshooting for networking issues and communication line issues

  • Coordinate with the external vendors for support purpose related to Voice, Routing/Switching, etc.

  • Any other additional tasks the line manager may give and is within the scope of work and the capability of network resource

  • Supporting VIPs of the group and group companies

  • Day to day operation tasks, including expansion of the existing system - move, add, change under the guidance of Group IT

  • Administration and configuration of Remote access services (VPN, Remote RDP etc.) for ARG staff, Application Management Services Vendors, Infrastructure Management Services Vendors, and other vendors

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (in IT preferred)

  • Networking certifications

Experience

  • 2-3 years' experience as network support engineer

  • Professional in configuring and troubleshooting CISCO routers, L2/L3 Switches and firewalls, etc.

  • Excellent experience of CISCO IT telephony, CISCO call manager

  • Excellent experience of configuring remote and Site-2-Site VPN

  • Good experience of routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, etc.

  • Good knowledge of VLANS, Sub netting, VPN, load balancing, VSS, Wireless modems, Access Points

  • CISCO IDS/IPS

  • CISCO Access Control Server (ACS)

  • JUNIPER Firewalls

  • F5 link controllers
