Join our 2024 Graduate Program and embark on an exciting journey as a Graduate Engineer - Electrical within our Utilities team at AECOM. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving the design of power and extra low voltage networks, substations, street lighting, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models according to specific discipline requirements, under the supervision of an experienced Engineer.
Apply design and technical knowledge to contribute to high-quality outputs within project timelines.
Perform work following agreed-upon budget and schedule guidelines, under supervision.
Collect and analyze information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models as needed.
Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems efficiently.
Coordinate with Engineers from other disciplines to ensure continuity of the design process.
Participate in design progress and coordination meetings to contribute insights and updates.
Verify and ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams, ensuring accuracy to design instructions.
Actively seek information and opportunities to contribute, develop efficiencies, and solve problems effectively.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with exposure to one or more of the following subjects from an accredited University
Street Lighting Design
Power design (High voltage, medium voltage, low voltage)
Extra low voltage design (telecom, security etc.)
Power generation
Renewable power generation
Sustainability within the power industry
Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.7 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
