Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Coordinate and facilitate the development of the asset medium and long term business plans in line with overall Asset, Corporate and ADNOC Objectives.

  • Includes integrating the Asset resources, production projections, operating margins, and future projects into the Business Plan.

  • Discuss stakeholders' requirements/challenges, propose options, and issue final asset contribution to Business Plan.

  • Conduct business/economics evaluation for all projected projects and establish scenarios to facilitate optimal business decision making and maximize opportunities.

Job Specific Accountabilities

  • Conduct business/economics evaluation for all projected projects and establish scenarios to facilitate optimal business decision making and maximize opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Participates and facilitates the definition and formulation of the Asset's Medium and long-term strategies to achieve business objectives whilst ensuring alignment with corporate strategies/objectives.

  • Coordinate and facilitate the annual process of preparing the Asset's 5-Year Business Plan to incorporate the appropriate framework for the development of Asset resources, production projections, operating margins and future projects.

  • Prioritize short, medium, and long-term work programs. Analyze and challenge data prior to incorporation in the Business Plan.

  • Provide input in coordination with all stakeholders and prepares the delivery of the asset contribution into the key corporate internal/external communication milestones and forums such as IAG-EC, Asset Lead Meetings, PDISC, Shareholders workshops... etc.

  • Includes the facilitation of the Asset Integrated Meetings (IAM), promote integrated activity planning, and discuss individual stakeholders' requirements to agree on opportunities for integration in the asset work programs and plans.

  • Ensure effective implementation of strategic plans as per set timelines in order to support the achievement of corporate objectives and Business Plan.

  • Evaluate deviations and malpractices and recommend remedial plans to Senior Management.

  • Facilitate and coordinate the annual budget cycle within the Asset to ensure CAPEX and OPEX funds are available through utilization of company budgeting tools such as FPs, LVBRs, DWS, and IBS to execute work programs in line with company strategic plans and business objectives.

  • Conduct economics evaluation and develop various economic scenarios to ensure formulation of consistent and logical boundary conditions for VAP projects.

  • Thus, ensuring the business case is captured as part of all Gate submissions to warrant gate approvals to ensure delivery of business objectives.

  • Review the outcome of self-audit program findings and integrate corrective action plan with the Asset's work program where needed in coordination with all stakeholders for successful closure of audit items.

  • Review continuously current business processes and identify areas of improvement/optimization to ensure efficient mode of operation.

  • Liaise internally with other divisions and externally with other ADNOC Group Companies as and when required to incorporate synergies and optimize investments.

  • Generate specialized management and shareholders periodic and adhoc reports as and when required and Provide input into various management reporting tools such as Weekly Dashboard, Monthly Dashboard, CAR, QPR....etc

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business preferably with an MBA

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • At least 10 years relevant experience in the same or similar role
