ResponsibilitiesNegotiation Leadership:
Lead negotiations for complex commercial contracts related to medical products, services, and partnerships, ensuring alignment of interests among all parties.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and finance teams to develop comprehensive contract strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Contract Review and Modification:
Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions, identify potential risks, propose modifications, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Expert Guidance:
Provide expert guidance on contract-related matters, offering proactive solutions to mitigate risks and enhance contract performance.
Contract Lifecycle Management:
Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting through execution and renewal, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to timelines.
Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
Monitor contract performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize outcomes.
Industry Knowledge Integration:
Stay updated on industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices in commercial medical contracting, integrating relevant insights into contract management processes.
Team Support and Mentorship:
Mentor and support junior contract specialists, fostering their professional development and ensuring continuity of knowledge within the team.
Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in contract management or a related field, with a focus on commercial contracts within the medical industry.
In-depth understanding of contract law, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards applicable to the medical sector.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing high-value commercial contracts.
Exceptional communication skills, analytical acumen, and proficiency in contract management software platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
