Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in the Events & Exhibitions Stands sector, focusing on the markets of UAE and Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the events and exhibitions industry, with a specialization in selling stand design and construction services. This role will involve driving business growth, establishing partnerships, and nurturing client relationships in key markets to maximize revenue and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate and expand our presence in the Events & Exhibitions Stands market in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

  • Identify and prioritize target clients, market segments, and geographic areas based on market analysis, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target client organizations, including event organizers, exhibition companies, and corporate clients.

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with clients to understand their objectives, requirements, and challenges related to events and exhibitions stands.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, production, and project management, to develop customized stand solutions that meet client specifications and exceed expectations.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients, highlighting our capabilities, value proposition, and competitive advantages.

  • Registering the company with Government client and participating in the tender process.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with clients to ensure profitability and mutual satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in stand design and construction to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation.

  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and expansion.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services, establish thought leadership, and build relationships within the events and exhibitions community in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. Engineering background preferred.

  • Minimum of  5 to 7 years of experience in business development or sales roles within the events and exhibitions industry, with a focus on stand design and construction.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business objectives in the UAE or Saudi Arabian markets.

  • Strong understanding of the events and exhibitions market in Dubai or Saudi Arabia, including industry trends, key players, and client needs.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade decision-makers at all levels.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.

  • Proficiency in Auto CAD basic will be added value

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Dubai and Saudi Arabia for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
