The Opportunity
In this role, you'll play a vital role in upholding SGS's exceptional reputation for excellence. You'll conduct audits, deliver training sessions, and provide technical guidance, ensuring that our clients effectively implement and maintain robust information security management systems (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct initial, recertification, and surveillance audits of client ISMS in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
Deliver engaging and informative training sessions on information security best practices.
Ensure the timely and accurate submission of audit reports, meeting all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Provide prompt and professional responses to client inquiries, fostering positive and lasting relationships.
Conduct L1 and L2 audits as assigned by the Business Manager.
Support the sales team during client meetings, leveraging your technical expertise.
Offer technical guidance and address client inquiries related to information security.
Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Business Assurance Manager.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in IT, engineering, or a related field.
Possesses a minimum of five years of experience working within a certification body, with a strong track record in information security auditing.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a talent for presentations and interpersonal interactions.
Demonstrates exceptional client management skills, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Highly proficient in using computer software and applications relevant to the role.
Technical and Soft Skills:
Holds a certified Lead Auditor qualification with expertise in information security management systems (ISO 27001) and related standards (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 20000).
Additional certifications as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 are highly advantageous.
Possesses a deep understanding of the IT sector and its security risks.
Strong command of written and spoken English for clear and concise communication.
Excellent time management and punctuality skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to lead and inspire others.
