Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients with a pleasant smile and extend warm wishes upon arrival.

  • Answer telephone calls politely, adhering to telephone etiquette guidelines.

  • Determine if patients are new or returning and direct them accordingly.

  • Gather information about the nature of illness and guide patients to the appropriate department.

  • Assist patients in completing registration forms and direct them to the designated doctor.

  • Refer patients to the Customer Care department if information is unclear.

  • Collect reference letters, if required.

  • Ensure all relevant data is filled out on registration forms.

  • Record referral details in both physical files and computer systems.

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate rooms or departments.

  • Provide information about preventive medical health checkups.

  • Address patient queries and concerns.

  • Participate in departmental quality initiatives to monitor and improve performance.

  • Assist in data collection and support related tasks.

  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols for both patient and staff safety.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

  • Provide basic translation assistance when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with registration procedures.

  • Answer phone calls courteously and provide assistance as needed.

  • Direct patients to the appropriate departments based on their needs.

  • Ensure all patient information is accurately recorded and filed.

  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized environment within the hospital.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient operations.

  • Uphold high standards of patient care and service delivery.

  • Attend training sessions and stay updated on hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification: Graduation is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a trainee receptionist preferred.

  • Skills: Active and good interpersonal skills, pleasing personality.

  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
