Job Description
Role Purpose
The senior campaigns manager is responsible for coordinating and assisting in all areas of Marketing for the department.
This may involve managing and liaising with agencies and partners, working on strategy decks and presentations, working on media and communications, website, social and digital, content creation and compliance.
Exemplary English skills are a necessity, Arabic skills are a plus, and experience in previous marketing roles in the travel and tourism industry are required.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
Strategic Planning & Partner Management
Help to develop, update and track the Marketing & Sales department annual business plan.
Monitor the progress towards the achievement of the Marketing & Sales department KPIs, set direction, and take corrective and/ or preventive actions to address any areas of underperformance or deficiencies
Oversee the maintenance of and endorse any proposed changes to the Policies, Procedures and Processes within the Marketing & Sales department
Ensure that the Marketing & Sales department plans, and performance are within the approved budget and timescales through providing timely and accurate progress reports to the Director of Operations on the operational progress of the department
Identify the annual workforce needs in coordination with the island General Managers to enable the realization of departmental objectives; and properly plan for the optimal allocation of workforce resource
Guide the Marketing & Sales department employees in executing their respective responsibilities towards the achievement of the department’s and Sindalah’s overall goals
Spread knowledge and awareness of marketing and communications guidelines through the department
Own the Knowledge Management Champion role, ensuring that all Sindalah related information shared with the rest of NEOM is 100% current, compliant and up to date
Media Campaigns
Compile, maintain and update media lists for relevant media for Sindalah
Compile monthly reports from all agencies (Communications and Social), ensuring that KPI’s are tracked and reported on
Audit the work of the agencies to ensure performance
Assist in the planning, execution and follow up from media FAM trips
Content Creation
Work with content creation partners to build a huge variety of creative assets (including internal partners, island partners, agencies, visiting creators and UGC)
Guide the creative process to result in Sindalah-appropriate outputs, without hampering creativity
Ensure Sindalah ownership of the assets
Own the archiving system for all creative assets, internal, NEOM-wide and external – maintain perfect organizational structure and update in real time
Ensure timely dissemination to all relevant partners
Digital
Work with social media agency to aid them in fulfilment of their scope, alignment with Sindalah brand standards, and tracking and fulfilment of KPI’s
Work with NEOM Tourism, Tonomos, NEOM Marketing and third parties to ensure seamless project management for all digital products including; websites, apps, metaverse tools, CRM systems
Have a strong understanding of digital marketing and update the rest of the Sindalah team on cutting edge developments on a monthly knowledge sharing basis
Work with asset partners, mobility partners and DMC partners on their own digital platforms, ensuring brand compliance and best-in-class usage as well as data capture
Branding
Ensure brand compliance across all platforms, partners and touchpoints
Assist in development and registration of brands where required.
Advertising Campaigns
Lead the creation of Ad campaigns (TVC’s, print, OOH. Digital)
Coordinate with agencies, sharing content, information, and ideation
Ensure tracking and reports are aligned with KPI’s and delivered in a timely manner
Research
Spearhead customer feedback campaigns together with the Director of Marketing
Utilize this and other available data sets together with the Director of Marketing and sales partners to update customer profiles and conduct ongoing customer research leading to actionable outputs
Internal Services
Provide coordination with, and assistance to, internal partners such as the Events Team and the Hotel Partners.
Be responsible for content capture at events, dissemination to partners, and correct archiving and usage of content as created
Background, Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements
Creativity, a positive attitude and an ability to thrive under pressure
Exceptional English language skills, Arabic skills a plus
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
7+ years of experience in Marketing
Experience in marketing for travel, tourism, hospitality or luxury goods
