Security Systems Engineering Lead

Effectively coordinate and manage various project tasks in support of the design and delivery of Security at OXAGON.

Role Purpose

1. To build and nurture a future-oriented, Internal Security organization that is pioneering, cutting-edge, and perfectly embodies the NEOM core value of being 'An Accelerator of Human Progress,' enhancing NEOM's standing as the world's safest and most secure place to live and work.

2. The roles' core function will be to act as the point of contact between the OXAGON Security Department and masterplan developers, finance, proponents, and project team to ensure that Security requirements have been incorporated in all plans.

3. The role holder will make engineering analysis, design reviews, and make decisions on behalf of the Security department.

4. The role will require a high level of interpersonal skills, high-level of understanding for different technologies, diplomacy, and a culturally appropriate attitude that perfectly embodies diversity's NEOM mindset

.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all activities related to Security scope across OXAGON’s Engineering developments and ensure compliance to all NEOM Public Safety and wider KSA standards and requirements.

• Work with a team of engineering Consultants and Designers across zones.

• Optimize Security engineering designs by integrating technologies across OXAGON’S developments.

• Conduct requirements-driven analysis across OXAGON’S proponents to drive effective liaison and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Work with various OXAGON’S proponents to ensure Security technology integration across Public Safety functional areas.

• Oversee engineering activities with an experience of inspection, design, construction, and compliance.

• Engage with management and senior management of NEOM and OXAGON’S Security and Public Safety teams and zonal proponents to evaluate critical design trade-off.

• Liaise with project supervision teams, coordinate, and resolve any issues of concern.

• Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.

• Engage subject matter experts to deliver defined work packages in support of Public Safety technology and integration.

• Review NEOM development documentation carefully to gain a thorough understanding of NEOM’s

project requirements, and to ensure that his review is focused on, and reflects these key drivers.

• Accountable for OXAGON Security and Public Safety deliverables.

• Reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and materials and equipment specifications.

• Perform multi-disciplinary reviews during each design stage.

• Preparing progress reports and monitoring project controls.

• Consult and attend meetings as necessary with the relevant authorities/stakeholders/departments in relation to the Project.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Responsibilities

• Document items discussed with authorities in letters/meeting minutes and issue to applicable party and

OXAGON Security and Public Safety.

• Organize and prepare presentation documentation for compliance reviews. The presentation shall clearly communicate the project status at each interim stage and end of stage. The presentation must provide an accurate representative sample of coordinated and current project information (including specialty consultants) relevant to OXAGON Security and Public Safety.

• Advise OXAGON Security Public Safety of all relevant correspondence from or to him and provide copies (written or electronic) as necessary.

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Engineering Knowledge of Security High Commission of Industrial Security (HCIS) Directives, ASIS, ISO, Saudi building codes, IBC, OSHA and NFPA

• A significant track record in engineering and construction for Security and Safety scope.

• Experience in engaging multiple vendors and/or subcontractors in consultancy, equipment and/or service operations domains.

• Has experience on big projects.

• Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, and design details.

• Should be familiar with international codes, standards, procedures, and specifications.

• Having ASIS PSP OSHA certification and other Security certificates is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

• Relevant years’ experience in engineering, design, and construction
