Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a corporate IT environment.

  • Proficiency in administering Linux and Windows-based servers.

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication & interpersonal skills (English)

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Administration:

  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers (Red Hat 7 & and

  • Windows servers (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).

  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software installations, updates,

  • patches, and system backups.

  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts promptly to ensure maximum

  • uptime and performance.

2. Troubleshooting and User Support:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and

  • network-related issues.

  • Document troubleshooting procedures and maintain knowledge base for future

  • reference.

3. Security Management:

  • Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data

  • and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and

  • mitigate potential risks.

  • Respond to security incidents promptly, investigate root causes, and implement

  • corrective actions.

  • Address audit gaps and ensure all necessary policies are implemented.

4. Backup and Disaster Recovery:

  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the

  • event of system failures or data breaches.

  • Perform regular backups of critical data and test recovery procedures to validate

  • their effectiveness.

  • Perform periodical DR tests to confirm or to update the DR procedure.

  • Participate in scheduled DR simulations.
