Job Description

Responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations across Mohamed Naser Al-Hajery & Sons' diverse divisions, including FMCG, F&B, Healthcare, and Perfumes & Cosmetics. This role involves strategic oversight of stakeholder management, project implementation, space optimization, compliance, staff management, and operational efficiency to ensure seamless warehousing and distribution operations.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all divisional stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination of logistics and distribution strategies.

  • Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to discuss operational performance and address any concerns.

Operational Oversight and Issue Resolution

  • Maintain a hands-on approach to daily operations through direct engagement with the Assistant Warehouse and Distribution Manager.

  • Provide strategic support in resolving major operational challenges and ensure continuity in warehouse activities.

Compliance, Audit, and Supplier Interaction

  • Act as the main contact for audit teams and regulatory bodies, ensuring all warehouses comply with legal and corporate standards.

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with suppliers to ensure the efficient supply of goods and timely resolution of supply chain issues.

Random Spot Checks and Quality Control

  • Conduct regular and random inspections to monitor compliance with operational protocols and quality standards.

  • Assess and ensure the accuracy of inventory management systems through spot checks.

Cleanliness and Organization

  • Regularly review and enforce policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within all warehouse facilities.

  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance operational tidiness and efficiency.

Security, Health, and Safety Management

  • Develop and enforce strict security protocols and safety measures across all warehouses, tailored to the specific needs of stored products.

  • Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations, particularly in the storage and handling of different product categories.

Space Management Across All Warehouses

  • Oversee space utilization and layout planning across all warehouses to maximize efficiency and adapt to changing inventory and storage needs.

  • Implement innovative storage solutions that optimize warehouse capacity and accessibility.

Project Management and New Warehouse Openings

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of new warehouse projects and other logistics-related initiatives.

  • Oversee the operational setup and smooth launch of new warehouse facilities, ensuring they meet business and operational needs.

Team Leadership

  • Oversee all aspects of workforce management, including manpower planning, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and development of warehouse staff.

  • Set performance objectives for all the warehouses and distribution employees and monitor their performance.

  • Cultivate a culture of high performance and continuous improvement among teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop strategic plans to enhance Warehousing and Distribution operations, aligning with the company’s long-term goals.

  • Continuously review and refine internal processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.

  • Perform ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the CEO and Supply Chain Director.


Skills

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Warehouse Management or a related field.

  • Master’s Degree in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain is a plus.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the same or related field.
