The Opportunity

Mace is seeking a highly experienced Risk Management Consultant to join our Programme Management Office (PMO) for a major mixed-use development in Riyadh. This exciting program encompasses over 200 projects, including cultural assets, restaurants, retail spaces, hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the senior risk manager to identify, assess, and report risks at various levels.

  • Facilitate risk workshops and brainstorming sessions.

  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.

  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register detailing identified risks, their status, and mitigation actions.

  • Provide risk management training and guidance to project personnel.

  • Conduct, evaluate, and report on cost and schedule quantitative risk analysis.

  • Capture and share lessons learned to enhance effective project delivery.

  • Support the risk management performance and implementation of the risk framework.

  • Contribute to team performance, driving results, and providing coaching and development.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Advise and support project teams on risk management processes.

  • Facilitate and deliver risk workshops.

  • Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Ensure risk mitigation plans are developed and monitored.

  • Support the delivery of project quantitative risk analysis (cost and time).

  • Deliver monthly risk reports (internal and external).

  • Ensure all activities comply with Mace Control Centre, client requirements, and prevailing legislation.

  • Integrate risk management with PMO and planning disciplines.

  • Support junior risk managers and other project staff.

  • Contribute to achieving net zero carbon goals by proactively managing carbon emissions associated with project delivery.

You'll Bring:

  • Experience working on complex construction projects.

  • Proven track record of delivering effective risk management frameworks and strategies.

  • Working knowledge of risk tools, techniques, and software (e.g., Active Risk Manager, riskHive, Primavera Risk Analyser, Primavera P6).

  • Excellent communication, engagement, and networking skills.

  • The ability to create and deliver clear and persuasive presentations.

  • Extensive experience supporting the delivery of project risk management services in construction.

  • The ability to manage challenging relationships and secure positive outcomes.

  • Resilience and adaptability in demanding situations.
