PMIS Lead

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taking an existing program management information system (PMIS) to the next level of maturity.

• Improving existing process and procedures of the PMIS delivery.

• Managing a team of SharePoint and Power BI developers.

• Establishing data exchange interfaces (ETL, API) with other project management systems and a data warehouse.

• Managing the delivery of PMIS tool to the requirements from various stakeholders.

• Oversight of integration for GIS and BIM and visualizations data.

• Engaging at a senior level with client/supply chain stakeholders to manage system/reporting change control, ongoing maturity development, and continuing improvement.

• Focus is on maintaining the team workload plan and prioritization to ensure delivery according to the agreed schedules

• .Defines and delivers IM strategies, standards (inc ISO19650) and processes for client-facing projects and programs.

• Establishes and manages the project/program IM function following the strategy, standards and processes set.

• Trains and coaches project/program colleagues in IM practices and processes and drives awareness and continuous improvement.

• Manages the assurance and quality control of documents and artefacts submitted and stored.

• Manages & provides leadership to a team of direct and indirect reports, ensuring the principles, structures, tools/capabilities and responsibilities are in place to deliver area plans and deliver excellence.

• Provides comprehensive technical and functional expertise, contributing to global Digital Centre of Excellence including knowledge, processes, case studies.

• Delivers to bids in terms of IM strategies and solutions.

• Coordinates the set up, implementation and development of the Common Data Environment (CDE).

• Develops and implements processes as outlined within ISO19650, including defining how the information is produced and assured for digital delivery.

• May take overall Lead for IM on a project/program, or supports Associate Director (IM Lead), depending on scale/complexity of the project/program.

• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

1. Information Management leadership experience across a number of projects/programs.

2. Information architecture. Naming, numbering, filing, ISO19650.Building effective and high performing teams.

3. Effective delegation and task assignment.

4. Organized and ability to organize others, seek clarity, set and manage boundaries.

You’ll also have:

• Strong written and oral communication,

• Effective negotiator. Stakeholder management at all levels.

• Ability to focus on what is essential rather than what is optimal for expedient delivery.
