Position Overview: As a Pre-Contract MEP Cost Consultant, you will play a crucial role in meticulously planning and estimating costs using NRM in CostX. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering systems will ensure seamless collaboration with top-tier international designers. This Dubai-based role leverages your knowledge of the local market in Saudi Arabia (KSA), enhancing project outcomes amidst stunning landscapes and luxury living environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily routine checks on all packaging and palletizing equipment to detect damages or need for repairs.

  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance activities as per technical manuals and manufacturer recommendations.

  • Develop, implement, review, and improve PM plans and schedules for equipment maintenance.

  • Provide on-site technical support and proactive response to equipment breakdowns to ensure production continuity.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to optimize work production and monitor equipment maintenance costs.

  • Record abnormal events and escalate critical issues regarding quality, performance, and safety for resolution.

  • Review and update PM checklists to ensure timely completion of all planned activities.

  • Follow good maintenance practices to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and minimize downtime.

  • Initiate improvement projects for safer, efficient manufacturing operations.

  • Monitor department KPIs and implement actions to reduce maintenance costs and improve operational efficiency.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports based on agreed KPIs, targets, and projects.

  • Assist Head of Technical with various maintenance activities.

  • Strictly adhere to health, safety, and food safety procedures, ensuring employee and product protection.

Skills Required:

  • Technical education background in Mechanics or similar field; engineering degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of technical hands-on experience with packaging and palletizing equipment.

  • Deep knowledge of TetraPak Packaging Lines (A3, TBA platforms) and package integrity.

  • Basic understanding of automation and mechanical operation and maintenance.

  • Good electromechanical skills, including motors and sensors.

  • Familiarity with food manufacturing operations and relevant safety standards.

  • Ability to read P&IDs, flow charts, diagrams, MMs, and EMs.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
