As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the sale of our products or services within a designated region or geographical area, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure profitable growth in sales and revenue by meticulously planning, executing, and managing a dynamic team.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Crafting regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives.

  • Developing strategic sales plans for both short and long-term objectives.

  • Managing a significant opportunity pipeline to ensure regional growth and success.

  • Analyzing regional market trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.

  • Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to direct reports to achieve sales goals.

  • Identifying hiring needs, recruiting, and training new sales personnel.

  • Monitoring the performance of direct reports, setting goals, and providing ongoing support.

  • Reporting on regional sales results and forecasting quarterly and annual profits.

  • Participating in decisions regarding expansion or acquisition.

  • Proposing new services/products and innovative sales techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Keeping abreast of regional competitive activities and market dynamics.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Finance, and Engineering.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role (minimum 3 years).

  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).

  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.

  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and lead a high-performance sales team.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving attitude.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and commitment.

  • Maritime domain experience is advantageous.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • University degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
