About the Role: Euromonitor International is seeking a professional with a business background to support the fieldwork of market research projects in Kuwait. This role involves conducting interviews with key industry decision-makers, gathering data from primary and secondary sources, and analyzing information to generate insightful business intelligence. As a self-employed contractor, you will work remotely and independently, supported by a project manager from one of our EMEAI offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with key players in various industries, including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, and government entities.

  • Research and establish industry contacts to facilitate data collection.

  • Collect information from secondary sources and visit retail stores to gather product data and insights.

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using MS Excel.

  • Test hypotheses and generate reports in MS Word and PowerPoint.

  • Maintain a minimum availability of 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project.

Requirements:

  • Tenacity in gathering information and a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build industry contacts.

  • High numeracy skills and proficiency in data analysis.

  • Fluency in English and the local language.

  • Previous experience working on short-term contracts or in a freelance capacity.

  • Excellent time-management, organization, and self-motivation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Must be eligible to work in Kuwait (no visa sponsorship).
