Head of Inclusion (AY 24-25)

Beam, a leading operator of US and UK curriculum schools in the UAE and Bahrain, is seeking a highly motivated Head of Inclusion to join our team at the International School of Creative Science (ISCS) in Dubai.

About the Role:

In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all students at ISCS have the opportunity to thrive. You will lead and collaborate with a dedicated team to develop and implement effective inclusion strategies, monitor student progress, and cultivate a positive learning environment that caters to diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the progress of students with learning difficulties, analyzing data from teacher plans to assess the effectiveness of current strategies and identify areas for improvement.

• Implement targeted interventions and support systems to promote academic progress for students with learning difficulties.

• Collaborate with teachers to develop inclusive curriculum materials and lesson plans aligned with the UK National Curriculum.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to the individual needs of all students, nurturing social and emotional development.

• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and prepare them for examinations.

• Employ effective data analysis techniques to track student achievement and guide future initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a closely related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head of Inclusion or similar leadership role within a UK National Curriculum school.

• Demonstrated expertise in data disaggregation, analysis, and differentiation strategies tailored to students with diverse needs.

• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding policies and best practices for child protection.

• Proven track record of success in improving learning outcomes for students with learning difficulties.

• Strong analytical and data management skills.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
