Head of Inclusion

The International School of Creative Science (ISCS) is a British curriculum school seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Inclusion to join our growing team. We offer a unique faith-based learning environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and a strong sense of community.

The Opportunity

The Head of Inclusion plays a pivotal role in ensuring all students, including those with learning difficulties, have the opportunity to thrive. You will lead and manage the school's inclusion strategy, working closely with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective support systems.

What you'll do:

• Monitor progress of students with learning difficulties based on teachers' plans and data analysis.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning strategies for all students, identifying areas for improvement.

• Implement and oversee differentiated instruction approaches to cater to diverse learning needs.

• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Provide guidance and support to teachers in creating inclusive learning environments.

• Track and report on student progress to ensure continuous improvement.

• Stay up-to-date on best practices in inclusive education and learning difficulties.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (required).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within an educational setting (required).

• Strong understanding of data analysis, disaggregation, and differentiation strategies.

• Proven ability to develop and implement effective inclusion programs.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to student success.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
