Job Description

The Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of enhancing our brand reputation and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to generate leads and promote our products across various channels.

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Grow the marketing capabilities within Public Affairs to build MAQTA's reputational capital in the communities in which we operate around the world.

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to advance MAQTA's strategic initiatives.

  • Generate influence and impact through a variety of campaign channels and mechanisms to generate leads for MAQTA's products (e.g. digital, events and exhibitions).

  • Work closely with the technical team to produce blogs, webinars, customer stories, and product landing pages.

  • Establish ongoing cadence with Sales; Work across local stakeholders to ensure alignment of local Sales Enablement Activity to the Integrated Marketing plans.

  • Keep an eye on relevant events and determine the business case for participation.

  • Develop network of strong relationships with key advertising and media industry influencers and customers.

  • Monitor industry trends and competition to provide strategic insights to the leadership team.

  • Ensure that consumer insights are collected and elevated to the regional and global teams in actionable formats to drive the business forward.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities within the digital logistics landscape.

  • Utilize prospecting tools and techniques to generate qualified leads for the digital cluster's solutions.

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and potential partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of proven B2B marketing and sales experience, preferably in technology marketing, with strong integrated marketing and marketing operations background.

  • Connected sales and marketing experience & business acumen.

  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.

  • Strong understanding of sales priorities and motivations, and ability to advocate for marketing in conversations with sales organizations to ensure optimal customer experiences and success.

  • Strong executive maturity, presence, and track record of marketing impact and influence.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with equally good listening skills are essential.

  • Proven cross-group collaboration and enduring partnerships.

  • Strong analytical capabilities.

  • Innate ability to navigate through a complex matrix organization and lead process changes.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced connected sales and marketing environment.

Preferably:

  • Experience in working at a large global multinational company.

  • Marketing shared services experience.

  • Knowledge and expertise in a maritime industry.
