Summary Role:
The Business Excellence Specialist supports the Department manager in ensuring that Quality, Environmental and Security certification requirements are implemented and maintained. Moreover, Business Excellent Specialist supports improving business excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure active participation of BE in internal audit reviews by assisting department auditees in understanding NCR findings, developing and following up corrective actions until implementation.
- Map the universe of processes that govern Zain operations and suggest improvements and streamline existing processes when necessary, to optimize efficiency, applicability and operability.
- Support the analysis of existing processes to define gaps, analyze root causes, suggest improvements, and remove unnecessary steps to increase efficiency and effectiveness for customer satisfaction.
- Support the strategies for the implementation of international standards agreed by top management and provide guidance, when required, on process level requirements.
- Help monitor and ensure availability & accessibility of all updated documents on the intranet for areas of responsibility by monitoring effective implementation of documents & records control process.
- Conduct benchmarking customer interfacing processes with best practices in telecom and provide improvement options.
- Support the follow-up of all the Environmental management programs set by the owners.
- Support the development of successful and recurrent ISO certification: selection of reputable certification bodies / registrars, identification of candidate ISOs, driving the acquisition of strategically applicable and relevant ISOs, hosting audit and certification workshops, following-up the ensuring the mitigation of ISO certification non-conformities etc.
- Support the acquisition of strategically relevant certifications (examples include but not limited to data center certifications with UpTime Institute, M&O certification etc.) and highlight key monetization opportunities.
- Promote and improve the awareness on Quality concepts, Tools, ISO processes and procedures and Environmental Programs in the assigned areas.
- Help define performance measurement procedures and ensure their implementation, monitoring and analysis by the responsible departments.
- Perform all the above-mentioned roles and responsibilities in compliance to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies and report any information/physical security breaches or incidents to the supervisor/manager immediately.
- Be aware of, and adhere to, all environmental requirements as set by the statutory bodies in Kuwait, or by the published policies of Zain Group/KuwaitZain abides by fulfilling the occupational health and safety certificate requirements that establishes and maintains an OH&S management system that eliminate hazards and minimizes OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), take advantage of OH&S opportunities and addresses OH&S management system nonconformities associated with its activities.
What Do You Need to Qualify
Skills:
- Proven knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira or Trello.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills .
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities.
Education Level/ Major:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Product design thinking
