Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, management, and maintenance of pipeline projects. You will ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability while adhering to all compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all daily operations related to the assigned pipeline project.

  • Conduct field studies to determine the most economical pipeline route.

  • Analyze pipeline area classification and determine design factors.

  • Develop and prepare specifications for line pipes, fittings, and materials.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of scraper traps, intelligent pigs, and pipeline valves.

  • Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and designers in generating pipeline deliverables.

  • Perform various pipeline calculations, including pipe wall thickness, bending analysis, and hydraulics.

  • Prepare construction scope of work, hydrotest procedures, and other essential pipeline reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (required).

  • Minimum experience in engineering and design of onshore oil & gas pipelines (required).

  • Experience with pipelines for crude oil, refined products, LPG, NGL, and natural gas (required).

  • Broad knowledge of pipeline codes and standards (API 5L, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8) (required).

  • Proficiency in CADD software (Intergraph Microstation, PDS, AutoCAD) (required).

  • Experience with GPS equipment and in-plant piping design (preferred).

  • Familiarity with Intergraph SmartPlant software (a plus).
