Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise directional drilling operations at the wellsite to ensure desired directional paths and drilling targets are achieved safely and economically.
Assemble BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly) as per well and engineering plans.
Operate, inspect, and maintain motors and downhole tools at the rig site.
Generate and provide daily and final well reports on services performed.
Maintain well profile plots and provide customers with directional survey data.
Oversee RSS (Rotary Steerable System) operations at the wellsite.
Supervise, mentor, and train Trainee (DD I) and Junior (DD II) directional drillers.
Collaborate with the MWD (Measurement While Drilling) team to ensure BHA specifications and engineering optimization parameters are realized.
Assist in marketing, sales, and promotion of company products.
Maintain records of equipment at the wellsite.
Communicate effectively with internal personnel and customer representatives on location.
Take rotations in the office to coordinate as needed (Coordinator OJT).
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Attending mandatory safety meetings and maintaining company property and equipment in safe operating conditions at all times.
Understand and comply with Weatherford’s Enterprise Excellence Process and the Quality Policy, including all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
Adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Directional Driller.
Met all DD III training and competency requirements.
Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude with a high degree of self-discipline and motivation.
Ability to relate to rig-site personnel at all levels.
Experience with Rotary Steerable tools.
