Job Description

As a Senior Repair and Maintenance Planner at Weatherford, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating repair and maintenance activities for our product line equipment. You will review job orders, prioritize work, and schedule repair and maintenance tasks. Working closely with Repair and Maintenance Technicians, you will ensure the efficient execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, contributing to the mitigation of non-productive time and enhancement of field service delivery performance. This role may involve attending client locations to perform duties related to field operations when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Review job orders to determine work priorities and schedule repair and maintenance tasks.

  • Collaborate with Repair and Maintenance Technicians to schedule workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, and implement mandatory modifications on field equipment and tools.

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to improve overall field service delivery performance.

  • Participate actively in safety initiatives and promote a positive safety culture.

  • Report all hazardous and unsafe acts and adhere to quality procedures and policies.

  • Perform visual inspections on all parts according to specified criteria and document any non-conformances.

  • Complete documentation associated with requesting replacement parts from inventory.

  • Operate equipment such as the Break-out Unit to assemble and disassemble drilling tools.

  • Comply with all safety rules, company policies, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in directional drilling repair and maintenance.

  • High School diploma (or equivalent); preferred 2 years of College degree.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of Weatherford Quality Policy and compliance with all quality and safety requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
